Need to put data in a new cell at close of market.

Hi All
This might have been discussed here before but I cannot find the
appropiate search terms to find the solutions. I am tracking my
portfolio in a spreadsheet. What I would like to do is track it
everyday....for eg

A1 Date and B1 current Value
A2 Date+1 and B2 current value

Any way of doing this.
