List Dropdowns Disapeared
I have numerous lists on one sheet and all the dropdown boxes have
disapeared. I can add the values by hand, with no errors. I have checked the validation secion and the lists are still there. Can anyone help me get my list dropdown boxes back without having to redevelop it. |

Validation lists do not usually show a box until you click on the cell with the data validation, if you want to have a box that shows you may want to use conbo boxes ibnstead or color the cell so people know where the box selection cell is located. -- intruder9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ intruder9's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30107 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=497929 |

bigb is correct. However, if you click on the cell and still can't see the
drop down box try checking your view settings. From the menu path choose Tools / Options and then click the View tab. Under the Objects section ensure that Hide all is NOT selected. frozen the panes. When I selected "Window -- Unfreeze Panes", the drop down box re-appeared. "bigb" wrote: I have numerous lists on one sheet and all the dropdown boxes have disapeared. Willam, Thanks for the reply.
I just found out one more piece of the puzzle. This is only occuring on one sheet. All the other sheets work properly. Any suggestions? Thanks. BigB "William Horton" wrote: bigb is correct.
