Why does the right 'Alt' key not work in Excel?
The right 'Alt' key does not work in Excel 2003. The key plus the <enter key
provides a paragraph break in a cell of text. When I discovered the problem at work, I had to have MS Office re-installed (a few times!), but is not my preferred option at home. |

Hi!
Both ALT keys work for me using Excel 2002. Can't imagine MS would change this, so you probably have a bad right ALT key on your keyboard. Biff "zuzartej" wrote in message ... Thanks guys,
When I first noticed the problem, I suspected it might be a keyboard problem and even had the keyboard changed. But no luck and the the key works with other applications. Hopefully, it is another reason. At work it narrowed down to my user rights. Surprised! Thanks again. "Duke Carey" wrote: I agree with Biff your keyboard.
