Default intellectual vlookup

Hi all,

this is a ponder I had rather than a real problem.
Suppose I had a Vlookup array with a repeated value.

eg a1 is john smith but a2 is also John smith is it possible to get the
vlookup to return Both values, ideally at the same time. I do not have a
spreadsheet that requires this, I was just wondering.

Thanks,

Danny

vlookup will return only single value.

it is better to use macro, if you have multiple value

Hi
and how should they be returned? In different cells or combined in one
cell?

Both would be good. An intellectual problem I have been pondering.
