How can I get the lowest price, second lowest etc. from a range o.
I have a range of cities, and trucking companies. They are offering theri
prices for ninety cities that we ship to in the us. What function or forumla do I use to sort them by the lowest price per city, second lowest, etc.? please help!! Robin |
Select the data and do Data / Sort and choose an option
If you just want a formula for the lowest then =MIN(Your_Range) or even =SMALL(Your_Range,1) for smallest =SMALL(Your_Range,2) for 2nd smallest =SMALL(Your_Range,3) for 3rd smallest etc -- Regards Ken....................... Hi,
Suppose column A1:A50 contain names of cities,B1:B50 contain names of trucking companies, & column C1:C50 contain Prices. Then you may try as follows. Select C1:C50 from top to bottom ,then without lifting the mouse button ,select to the left, columns B1:B50 & A1:A50.Now sort this from Data menu. Now, the new column C1:C50 will show the prices Upward or downward depending on the sort order made. Thank you, K.S.Warrier "Robin" wrote: I have a range of cities, and trucking companies.
