Autofill skipping cells
I have a client with Excel 2002. On his spreadsheet he has a total in cell
A2, C2, E2, etc... He wants to use autofill to fill these in based on A2, but the cells in between (B2, D2, etc...) are stopping him. There is nothing in those cells at all. I tried locking them and protecting the sheet and then autofilling across, but that didn't work. He said he used to be able to do this, but I don't know of a way. Any suggestions? Thanks, Carla |
Select A2:B2. Drag the fill handle from B2 across as far as required.
