Converting 24 hr clock to GMT
I'm working with a spread sheet that we have to enter both the local time (24 hr clock) and GMT in separate columns. I have been trying to create a formula that when I enter the local time (24 hr clock) in one column it automatically places the GMT in the other column. The problem I’m having is that once the time hits a certain point it doesn’t change over to the new time it just keeps adding up. Example: Time GMT Local 3200 2400 It should read: Time GMT Local 0800 2400 -- rgullin9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rgullin9's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29392 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=491032 |
Converting 24 hr clock to GMT
Hi
It looks as if you may have your format of the cell holding GMT set to [h]:mm Change it to h:mm with FormatCellsNumberCustom h:mm Regards Roger Govier rgullin9 wrote: I'm working with a spread sheet that we have to enter both the local time (24 hr clock) and GMT in separate columns.
