Perhaps 280,000 0r 2000 are Text and not numerics. Quick check....... In A2 enter =ISNUMBER(A1) will return TRUE or FALSE Same for C1 If FALSE, copy an empty cell formatted to General and select your numbers then Paste SpecialAdd)KEsc.
