Chart question insert

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if (or how)I can insert the contents of
a cell (that has a date value in it derived from formula)
into a chart built from a data range that does not include
the date cell?
I'm attempting to state somewhere in the chart the last
data sheet entered date from the WB.
TIA

Dave R.

In your chart, click on your chart title box (not the content) and press
CTRL C then CTRL V. (This puts another text box within the chart).

Now click on the new box (again, not the content) and press = and click in
the cell you want to link to. Press enter.
