sahas, have a look here
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];Q95640 Copy the code from this link and Paste in your excel sheet . To put in this function, from your workbook right-click the workbook's icon and pick View Code. This icon is to the left of the "File" menu this will open the VBA editor, in the left hand window click on your workbook name, go to insert, module, and paste the code in the window that opens on the right hand side, press Alt and Q to close this window and go back to your workbook. If you are using excel 2000 or newer you may have to change the macro security settings to get the macro to run. then use something like this in a cell =ConvertCurrencyToEnglish(5.25) or =ConvertCurrencyToEnglish(A4) Abdul Hameed "sahas" wrote in message ... Hi Sahas
There is no built-in function for that. Download and install Laurent Longre's addin MoreFunc.xll from http://longre.free.fr/english/ and you have a NBText function (and lots of other good things).
