Freezing panes

how do i freeze panes vertically in Microsoft Excel Or even freeze panes
horizontally and vertically ?

Chip Pearson

Select the cell that should be the top left of the scrollable
(non-frozen) area, and choose Freeze Panes from the Window menu.

Hi Leka,
Actually you want to go past what you want to freeze.
Chip stayed up too late last night.

to freeze column A, first select column B
to freeze Columns A & B, first select column C
to freeze row 1, first select row 2
to freeze Column A and Row 1, first select cell B2

then Window (menu), Freeze
to unfreeze use Window, unfreeze
