CHIINV error
Hi - According to Excel Help info, the CHIINV function should work for
degrees of freedom up to 10^10, but I get a #NUM error for any value greater than 1037. Example: CHIINV(0.95,1038) gives #NUM, as does any other value 1037. Can anyone help me with this? (Am I doing something wrong?, or is there a way to work around the problem?) Thank you. - Amy |

The only thing you're doing wrong is believing Excel's online help contains no errors. There are lots of falsehoods therein, and Microsoft just can't seem to whip up the enthusiasm to correct them (some have been around for over a decade).
