Autofilter Locks???

Can anyone explain why the autofilter keeps locking on all my spreadsheets?
If I click on the autfilter button nothing happens so I have to untick the
autofilter then unhide all to be able to see all the data? Please help...

Autofilter Locks???

I have had ths ever since I swithced from Win98 to Win2K and now with
WinXP. I think it is an OS issue because it happens on spreadsheets
that I never had problems with until the aforementioned change.

I have talke with MS and they could not resove the issue. It seems to
happen especially with complex worksheets. Do you find that to be
true?

If you search the archives on this topic you'll find more posts that
I've made over the past year or so.

Autofilter Locks???

Cheers George, I totally agree. I switched from Win98 to WinXP and now on
pretty much all my spreadsheets now have this problem. It will work for a
while then just stop - how f*ing frustrating......

Even on some real complicated worksheets it will make Excel completely crash.

At least Msoft have found a solution then....NOT.
