Workbook copies itself when opened
I have a workbook athat was authored by someone else and sent to me for
editing that replicates itself when opened. At this point I have 5 versions that open up at the same time when I open up the file. What causes that and how do I prevent it from happening in the future. Thank you! |

Thank you. I did save the file as a new name, and that seemed to work.
How does one stop it from happening? Is it operator error? You can create a new window like this Maybe you did this by accident WindowNew Window in the menubar Click on the X to close it -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl "Sundevil249" wrote in message ... One stops it from happening by not going to WindowNew Window.
Yes, it is operator-induced. The feature is very handy when you want to see more than one view of sheets or workbooks.
