Can I write each row to a separate file?
Hi,
I am trying to find a way to write the text in each row in column A (say) to files defined in column B, does anybody know if this is possible? For example I would have a workbook with Column A as: A1: Jim Dave Ellen Elaine A2: Banker Baker Exec Teacher And column B as: B1: Names.txt B2: Jobs.txt I would like to run a macro to create the external files named in column B with the contents from column A, such that: Names.txt consists of "Jim Dave Ellen Elaine" and Jobs.txt consists of "Banker Baker Exec Teacher" Hope that somebody can point me in the right direction as I'm stumped with this one. Thanks, Ian |
