Default How do I stop the autopaste function in Excel?

How do I stop or prevent the autopaste function in Excel. For example, if
you want to copy of formula in cell C1 that says "SUM(A1:B1)", and you want
that exact copied formula to be in D1, I don't want D1 to say "SUM(B1:C1)".
Anyone know how to stop that?
