How to copy 98-97 excel macros to excel 2000 (XP)
 
Pc was converted to Windows XP, and my excel macros are in 98-97 ver while
the new version they installed was Excel 2000. Need to have my macros copied
pls let me know is possible.

No its not running, I checked the Personal Macro file and nothing is there.
However I still have a copy of the Personal.xls file from the old Windows ver
98. Tried to copy it to XLstart directory but still wont work.

Hi Will A

The problem here isn't a problem with the code but a problem with the
location of the code.

If that's the case your best bet is probably to open the "old" personal
workbook and export the macro (right click on the module in the VBE and
select Export File). then open the "new" personal workbook and import
the macro back in, and save the workbook.
