linking columns

I have been trying to link a dependent worksheet to a main source
worksheet. I have columns A-L and rows 1-55 on a spreadsheet. I don't
won't to see all the information on the second worksheet. How do I
link columns that I want to see in the second worksheet and have it
change when I edit the source worksheet. I know how to link cells but
I am confused about linking columns (or rows for that matter). Help
would be greatly appreciated.
