Some rows sort incorrectly in Excel. How do I correct the problem.
Most of the rows in my Excel database sort as they should but some are
totally out of order and I can't figure out how to fix the problem. |

What is the data like? This is often caused by some cells being formatted as
text and some being formatted as numbers. You can add 0 to all the cells to get them all to be the same type, then format as General. http://www.officearticles.com/excel/...soft_excel.htm See "Data Isn't Recognized..." ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "lee1838" wrote in message ... if you are sorting more than 3 ranges you have to start with the least
important ranges first , once you do that sort a second time |
