I have a workbook that has large amounts of vlookups (about 15,000). My
Excel workbook keeps giving me an error message that there are not enough
Excel resources and it cannot save external values.

Is there a limtation on the number of lookups that can be supported in Excel?

There is no limit on lookups per se, but there are limits on
Excel as a whole based on the available memory on the machine.
