formula to transpose
I have a excel xls that I will create into a very large project. the setup is as follows for my test. a1 = 1 b1 = 2 c1 = 3 d1 = 4 I then want: e1 = a1 so i put =a1 in cell e1, however I want e2 to = b1, and e3 to = c1 and so on. I do not want to manually insert =(cell) in each cell that I want to transpose to. So what kind of formula could I use to complete this task. I would like to drag formula down the e column. Please help. I have no idea on how to write such a formula please construct.
