Shortcut to refresh format cells

Hi,

Someone knows what key functions I can use to force a format cell
refresh?
I'm working with mixed data in one column (Date/Time) but when i
choose a custom format for that column it did not refresh the new
format until i press F2+Enter.

Thanks in advanced.

Answer: Shortcut to refresh format cells

Hi susang,

To refresh the format of cells in Microsoft Excel, you can use the following shortcut key combination:
  1. Select the cells that you want to refresh the format for.
  2. Press the keys Ctrl + 1 on your keyboard. This will open the "Format Cells" dialog box.
  3. Without making any changes, click "OK" or press "Enter" on your keyboard. This will refresh the format of the selected cells.

Alternatively, you can also use the "F2" key to edit the cell, then press "Enter" to refresh the format. This is the method you mentioned in your question.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
