is there a way to make excel ignor an error? 10E2 is entered in a workbook
and rather than have to go make excel ignor it each time it is entered i
would like to find a way to do them all at once.

Just a guess but if you type an apostrophe in front of the "number 10E2" it
shall become text.

wlfranks:
If the version of excel you are using is fairly new, you should get a little
green arrow in the corner of each cell that is posting an error. If all of
your "10E2" are in the same row or column, you can highlight the whole column
or row and then click on the box when it shows the error and say ignore. It
should ignore all errors then.
