Mayhaps the 223995 in J4 has an extra space before or after. Try clearing J4 and re-typing the number. Gord Dibben Excel MVP On 26 Oct 2004 22:41:22 -0700, (Don O) wrote: My formula, =vlookup(223995,a2:g19,5,false) works fine My formula, =vlookup(j4,a2:g19,5,false) doesn't work. J4 is the reference to the cell containing the number 223995. The return is #N/A In excel 2000 this was not a problem. Thanks in advance for your help. Don Durham, NC USA |
