Making a button to sort

Very simple I'm sure, but I just can't figure it out. I have data in rows 1
and 2 on my spreadsheet. I'd like to create a button on the spreadsheet that
when clicked, will sort rows 1 and 2 by the data in row 2. Any help or
pointers is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mo

Hi Mo

Maybe your example is not great, but to try and sort data in 2 lines sounds
a bit odd. I can understand if you want to sort several rows of data. Also,
you do not say by which column you want to sort, you rather say that you want
to sort by row 2. What criteria do you plan to use to do this sort?

Looking back on my post, I do apologize about the lack of detail. The data in
Row 1 is a row of names. The data in Row 2 is a row of scores. This
particular worksheet pulls that information from another worksheet. I'd like
to have the button set up so I can safely hide the 2 rows of data.
I started playing with my options some more and figured out that I could get
the job done by creating a macro, then porting that code over to a button
with some minor tweaking.
Thank you Kassie, and anyone else that may have had some input. This forum
really gave me some insight.
