How do I copy conditional formats so it changes cell references?

I want to add some conditional formatting to flag up rows containing less
than a certain number of tick boxes, but when I copy/paste the formula it
retains the original cell reference instead of changing it in the way it does
when you copy a formula. Help!

check that the conditional format equation does not have the absolute
