HOW DO YOU MAKE FORECAST FUNCTION WORK IN EXCEL?
 

I am having trouble using the forecast function to forecast sales based on
history. The numbers I get don't make sense. Can anyone help?

FYI don't type in all caps, it is considered shouting.

Given a set of data points (x,y), the forecast function predicts a y value
sometime in the future for a given x based on a linear trend of past data.
Give an example of your data set and what you are trying to predict for a
little more specific help.
