Removing links
I inherited a workbook that has a link to another workbook that no longer
exists. Every time I open this workbook, a message pops up that it can't find the linked file. I don't need to be linked to the other file, how do I remove this link? Dino |
Hi Dino,
Try going to the "Insert" pull-down menu, then select "Name", then "Define...". Look to see if there is anything in the list that shouldn't be there. Hope that helps. It worked! I discovered some names there and deleted them. No more pop-up.
Thank you. Dino "JS2004R6" wrote: Hi Dino, Try going to the "Insert" pull-down menu, then select "Name", then "Define...". Look to see if there is anything in the list that shouldn't be there.
