Data range to names
How do I give a name to a data range? -- Erik B ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Erik B's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=27621 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=471681 |
Hi Erik
Either Mark the range of data, go to the white pane to the left of column letter A and above Row 1, type in the name you wish to use, press Enter. Or InsertNameDefine and in the Name pane Enter name required, and in the Refers to pane enter =$A$1:$D$50 or whatever your range is to be. Yes I know that, but i mean something else Example: 1 to 3 Excel has to say left 3 to 6 Excel has to say middle 6 to 9 Excel has to say right And when I change a value the name has to change too. -- Erik B ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Erik B's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=27621 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=471681 |
