real-time countdown

Can anyone help me out making a real-time countdown clock. What I'm
looking to do is make one that counts down the months, weeks, days,
minutes and seconds until it is time for me to leave the desert. We
are novices with excel but are pretty sure that we could muddle through
it.

Thanks for the help

Not Excel but a useful program, and the price is right.

Good Luck on your trip home....
