Just need to know what type of formula i would use for this
How do i create a formula that will read a column and a row and return the
information at the intersection of those two points. If i am looking for the intersection of C and 3 to return a value of 5. Where C is in one Cell and 3 is in a diffrent Cell. As if the Answer to two diffrent question yeilds a response of the intersection point. 1 2 3 4 A 7 9 5 3 B 5 4 3 6 C 9 8 5 1 D 1 1 1 1 |
You may want to use =index(match()).
You could look at Debra Dalgleish's site: http://www.contextures.com/xlFunctions03.html for some tips. Example 2 looks like something you'd want.
