How do I rename the A B C cell range along the top of excel

I want to put my own column headings where the A B C D E F columns are, I
know there is a way to rename these, but I can't remember how. Please let me
know how to do this!

Thanks so much

No, there is no way to rename the column headings. You can have them as
alphabetic or numeric. The only way to do what you want is to use one or
more of the top rows for your headings and switch off the display of the
column headings. That might have the effect that you want.
