question about a basic formula
I'm trying to do an employee timesheet.
I need to be able to enter a starting time / lunch in / lunch out / an ending time. The fifth cell in that row needs to show the total hours (minus lunch) with overtime in the sixth cell (hours over 10 hours). Obviously I'm a novice with this program. Any help would be greatly appreciated. M |
Mark, see if this will help

Chip Pearson has a bunch of information on time calculations and has a
downloadable spreadsheet that does just what you need. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/overtime.htm ************ Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com "mark" wrote in message oups.com...
