Need help

Columns

I want to be able to have multiple columns in the first two rows of my
worksheet and then have a different amount of columns on the other rows. I
would like to do this without merging the cells. Any suggestions?

Ian

Not possible AFAIK.

You can do this without merging cells. Your approach can be use to display
the Index in the back of a book. The first row could be the topic, the
second row the page within the index that liststhe topic. Going down the
column would be all the places in the book that the topic appears or is
referenced to.
