I had previously changed where Excel looks for templates but I don't remember
how I ddi it. I was upgraded today to Office 2003 and Excel is back to looking in the standard folder for templates. So I can no longer see my templates. |

![]() I am not aware of a setting for opening a default location to find *.xlt (template) files. You can, however, set the default location for all files: ToolsOptionsGeneral tab: set the Default File Location here HTH Bruce -- swatsp0p ------------------------------------------------------------------------ swatsp0p's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=15101 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=467230 |

You can add your personal Templates folder to the My Places bar in FileOpen. You can alternatively change the path in WordToolsOptionsFile Locations. This will add your folder to the ones you see when hitting FileNew..General Templates.
