Colouring text in a conditional format

I have this formula in a cell:

=IF(TODAY()C9,"DUE,0)

If "DUE" is returned I would like it to be coloured red - can this be done? If it can also be flashing that would be the icing on the cake!

select the cell with the formula = Conditional Formatting = New Rule
= Formula to determine.... and use this formula:
=TODAY()C9
and choose your expected format
