Progressive number with Excel then print a unique Pdf file
Hallo to everybody,
I have an Excel file that I use to print a selfadhesive A4 label size to stich on pallet. The content of the label is the same, except that I need to print the label with a progressive number: 1 of 155 2 of 155 3 of 155 155 of 155 Is there a way with a macro to input the first (1) and last number (155) and then print a Pdf files with 155 pages? Then I'll print the Pdf in 4 copies (one each side of the pallet) The max number might be different, depending on the project. I am using Excel 2007 with Microsoft Pdf printer installed. Thanks and Regards Mark |

Then I'll print the Pdf in 4 copies (one each side of the pallet) click in status bar "Page Layout". If you want the number e.g. top right click in the right header and then in Header & Footer Tools on Page Number, then write of and click on Number of Pages. You can also put it in Footer, left, center or right. Regards Claus B. -- Win XP PRof SP2 / Vista Ultimate SP2 Office 2003 SP2 /2007 Ultimate SP2 |

Thanks for your answer.
Actually I have only one page, and then when I print it should increment a number: the first A4 sheet: 1 of 155; the second A4 sheet: 2 of 155; the last A4 sheet: 155 of 155, or xxx of yyy Regards Mark |
