Conditional formatting a big size

So basically I want to highlight from A30 to H55 and make a conditional formatting where it will fill rows based on the date on column C. So, like today (7/20/12), everything should be highlighted from A30 to H45 because those days have passed. Those with todays date should not be filled. Thanks a lot to anyone who can help with this.

Post a workbook rather than an image of one and you'll get a suitable solution far quicker!

that did it, thank you very much. I looked at the formula and I see why your and formula worked. Basically when I tried doing it I was thinking of doing some IF statements, could never get it to work.
