Default HELP-Can not type on Spreadsheet

I am not able to type or make corrections on my Excel Spreadsheet. PLEASE I
NEED HELP?????

Deb,

Is the worksheet protected? Go to the Tools menu, choose
Protection, and then Unprotect Worksheet.

It sounds like your worksheet and/or workbook is protected.

What happens when you try to type anything? Maybe the sheet is
protected?

THANK YOU everyone for replying.....It was not protected... I messed with it
and discovered if I go to file and then click on Open it for Editing I can
work on it ???. Is there anyway to bypass this?

If you open it normally, does it work now?

My (off the wall guess)...

You were playing with some objects (pictures/comboboxes/checkboxes...) and you
had the Drawing toolbar open.

You clicked the arrow Icon (on the drawing toolbar) to select a bunch of
objects. But you didn't click on that arrow icon to turn it off -- turn excel
back to normal.

Any chance????

I just downloaded today the OFFICE STANDARD EDITION 2003 - I another version
that I had used for years on this computer, but for some reason this morning
it would not open ........
