You can use Conditional Formatting as long as you just have 3
colors being added by the conditions. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/condfmt.htm and if you have high speed access (Macromedia flash (swf) presentation) http://www.datapigtechnologies.com/f...rmatexcel.html Your name and correct capitalization and spelling would be a lot easier reading. --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "cjjoo" wrote in message ... the problem i am facing now is that i wan to assign different colours to cells that has the return value of "good", "ok" and "bad". is there a way to do that? for instance, in b2:b4, i got good, good, bad and okie. now i wan to colour the cells according to their status. good= green okie =yellow bad= red can anyone help me with this? -- cjjoo ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cjjoo's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=26916 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=401397 |
