Automating using VBA
 

Hello,

I am currently into database management. I am a newbie. Currently I am only
performing pivot table function for excel to extract the data I need. I want
to automate it . What would I learn first, any helpful site or tutorials that
i could access with? I'm totally "zero" on VBA or any programming language.
But I could learn it.

This doesn't really answer your question, but.. take a look at Debra
Dalgliesh's site. She has quite a bit of info about Pivot Tables, as well as
a beta version of a pivot table add-in
