Creating a formula for down and distance

I some assitance in creating a formula to figure down and distance in an
excel spreadsheet.

Conrad Carlberg

Okay. What do you have to work with? Original yardline? Current yardline?
Number of downs since the prior first down? (I'm assuming you're talking
American football, here, of the Broncos/Elway stripe.)

No, sorry, nothing at all against you but as a matter of policy I don't open
other people's files. Risky business. If you'd like to describe your
worksheet's structure -- names of variables and their locations, number of
records, formulas you already have in place, etc. -- I or some other
newsgroup denizen would be happy to have a look at that. (And FWIW, Elway
would have won four Lombardi trophies, not just two, had it not been for Dan
Reeves. I don't think the Broncos could possibly have beaten the Niners in
SB24, not even had Belichick been coaching the Broncos.)
