copying formulas to another cell
 

when i copy a formula to another cell it does it correctly, but it also shows
the same value from the copied cell.

What? Can you be more specific? Post the formula and an example of the cells
contents.

I resolved the problem. In tools, options there is a tab called calculation.
If it's set on manual, you have to input formulas into each cell. If
automatic is check marked the formula will copy correctly. My problem was the
formula and the value in the cell would paste into the new cell
