How to get pivot table Time field to appear correctly

I have created a pivot table that works as a scheduling tool. It uses a
'Time' field from the input data to populate the available times on certain
days in the pivot table. Mysteriously, the time of '1:00 PM' is now
appearing as 'n' in the pivot table field. The input data is keyed as
'13:00' military time. The pivot table had been showing the correct data on
the pivot table, but now, months later, is showing the 'n'. If I change the
time in the input table to '13:01', the pivot table will properly display a
formatted '1:01 PM' and sort the field correctly.

The question is: How do I get Excel to show '13:00' in the input table
correctly as '1:00 PM' in the pivot table, and not the mysterious 'n'?
