get pivot data formula - is it the thing to do
 

I need some direction or sources of reference on this function. I use version
2003.

your thought s, or pointing me in right direction appreciated.

I am building allot fo pivot tables reports with some of the pivots data
getting charted.

problem - I need to manual copy data from pivot to other spot on page ,
paste values re-set source data for all the charts data ranges and then I
have updated charts.

also summaries are somewhat dynamic so things chnage row position and
categories move do to ranking .

I have allot fo pivots and people are likeing reports so only going to get
additional requests.

Goal - to get suggestions to handle this issue - do I use the get pivot data
formula or do I do some vba or do I just suck it up and mange this issue as
is copy paste values re-set source data.

please note vba is low to maybe med on some issues.
