Capture and Store the date that data is entered in Excel?
How can I capture the date that I enter new data in a cell? I would like to
know when certain data was entered automatically. |
Can you elaborate?

You would have to use an event macro, and the only other place
to store the date other than the cell itself is in a comment. I would suggest using another column and adding the date to it automatically. see http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/event.htm#autodate --- HTH, David McRitchie, Microsoft MVP - Excel [site changed Nov. 2001] My Excel Pages: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm Search Page: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/search.htm "Nicegy" wrote in message ...
