I am using Exell 2003, when i enter a number it appears as a 2 decimal place
fraction, rather than a full number.

Are you saying that the number is correct, just rounded to two decimal
places? If so, reformat the cell(s) as General.

If you mean say 100 is showing as .01, this sounds like Fixed Decimal. Go to
menu ToolsOptionsEdit and uncheck the Fixed Decimal box.
