Adjacent cell
Hi everyone,
I use quite often a simple formula when I want to populate a helper column (used as a counter) every time I enter an alpha value in the adjacent cell such as: B1=IF(A1="Y",1,0). How would I accomplish the same result when, instead of the alpha values of Y or N, I have a dollar amount. In other words, every time I enter a dollar value zero, a "1" will be populated in the adjacent cell; when there is a zero amount (such as $0.00), the adjacent cell will be left blank. Thank you, Geza. |
=IF(A10,1,"").
