Excel 2002 Pivot Table Date
What format should the date be to use the year portion (database is only two
digits) as rows or columns? The current date format is 12-JAN-98. All transactions will total by year. Example: Transactions: 02 03 04 xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx Transactions are summarized by G/L. |

Format doesn't matter, as long as they are truly dates: simply drag your date to the row field, then select it and use the grouping command button on the pivot table drop-down.
