using formulas in a drop down box
 

Is there a way by using a drop down box when selecting either Item "A with
formula A" or Item "B with formula B"?
I have tried to make a validation list with the two numerical values and
there corresponding formulas, but when either value is picked in the drop
down box the formula does not follow.
